12 Best Cards Against Humanity Carrying Cases & Storages

Best Cards Against Humanity Carrying Cases & Storages

We know, we know, you love card games! We love ‘em too, but they can get us in trouble sometimes, they’re so messy, admit it!

Oh, and when we are at messy card games, Cards Against Humanity is definitely the king! And one of the main reasons is the huge set of cards…. Except for the core game, all the other CAH Unofficial Editions have lots of cards as well!

We can’t help it, we can’t stop playing! But wouldn’t it be great if we have fun, but also try to keep the cards organized at the same time?

Things got harder when we knew that Cards Against Humanity Bigger Blacker Box isn’t available anymore, so we need an alternative to the CAH Bigger Blacker storage box.

What if we told you we found the solution? As always! Thank God, there are some clever minds out there that thought of making our life easier by creating cards storage cases & boxes!

I bet you all accidentally destroyed any of your cards, you spilled some coffee on them, and no, putting them in rice doesn’t help… unfortunately. Or maybe you lose some of the cards and months later you find them taking a rest under your couch?

Yes. Favorite cards…it can also get frustrating when they get damaged by accidentally spilling tea/coffee on them, or when it comes with damaged packaging.

It hurts missing a specific card while having a hilarious combination in mind… Don’t worry, that won’t happen anymore, our word of honor!

These storages do their best to keep all your cards and all the expansions organized, even if you’re taking the cards with you on a sleepover, picnic, or you simply just want to see them in their place wherever you are!

And don’t worry, they’re also great when playing the drinking version of CAH , even if you’ve lost your track, your pretty case will protect the cards!

Buying Guide To Choose The Perfect Cards Against Humanity Case

Before we move on to the list, here are some tips we thought may be helpful for you to find just what you’re looking for:

How many cards do you have/ plan to have? This is probably the most important question you have to ask yourself before deciding on a case! If you own or plan to buy lots of expansions, go for a larger box/ case. If you just want to have the main games, without expanding further, a small box works great. (it’s actually better than having a large box where half of it will remain empty.)

Look for the handle. If you like taking the deck of cards (almost) wherever you go, you should always look for the handle, or shoulder strap. Just imagine how difficult & tedious it would be carrying a box from one place to another, if you don’t have a ‘second hand’ to help.

Pay attention to the box’s size & shape. The box’s size is definitely closely related to the number of cards, as I mentioned earlier. Now the box’s shape may seem not pointless to you, but, trust me, it isn’t. Choose the shape based on your personal preferences, the place you’re thinking of putting the box, the number of cards, and so on.

Check the movable dividers. This is a lifesaver especially if you play CAH (or other card games) often. They really help keep the cards organized, you can divide the black cards and white cards, the expansions with each other, and more. What’s great is that you can remove and place them anywhere and anytime!

Find a worthy-priced case/box. This may not be a struggle for everyone, but we’d like to save some money. And why buy the same case with a higher price, when you can get a cheaper one? After all, if it keeps the cards well, what else do you need? Anyways, it’s your choice, a case is always worth its money!

FAQ

1. How big is the Cards Against Humanity box?

  • The main Cards Against Humanity box is 8 x 4.1 x 2.7 inches. Which means it perfectly suits 600 playing cards. But not more than that.

2. Which box/case is best for Cards Against Humanity?

  • It really depends on how many cards you’ve got. If you like adding expansion packs, or editions, you surely need a bigger box/case; If you only have the original edition, then you need a smaller storage. In other words, the best one depends entirely on what you need, and what box meets those needs.

3. But what’s the difference between a case & a box?

  • A case is usually made of a material called ethylene vinyl acetate (the name is hard to remember though), and it is usually used for traveling, because it is easier to hold. While, on the other hand, a box is made of different materials: wood, plastic, metal, and it’s key purpose is to keep the cards organized.

4. What is the best material for a storage box?

  • If you’re planning to keep it in a safe place, every box works, even if it’s made with cardboard. But, if you like moving around and taking the box with you, we recommend a plastic one, because as you assume, it is waterproof, so there’s no risk!

5. What is a Cards Against Humanity holder?

  • A Cards Against Humanity holder can be anything that holds the deck. Yes, a so, very generic answer. It can be a case, a box, a storage box. For example: a caseling case can fit 1650 cards. Even though that’s not the only purpose of the box, the fact that it can fit C.A.H cards, makes it a Cards Against Humanity holder.

6. What comes in the Bigger Blacker Box?

  • Despite the fact that it’s designed to hold the cards, it actually comes with a few extra things: blank cards (50 of them), the 20-card box expansion, and the famous hidden card.
