What you’re going to need:
- A piece of cardboard, thick enough to hold cards, and become a box. (you know, common sense);
- Scissors/scalper;
- Glue;
- Pen (optional);
- Enthusiasm to start making the box! Yay!
Here’s what you’re going to do:
- Carefully measure into the correct dimensions, as shown in the picture.
- Put effort into cutting it carefully;
- Glue it together.
- With the pen write whatever you wish on it (such as the game name);
- You just made yourself a box that fits 2,500 cards. Congrats!!
If it doesn’t look like a box, you’ve done it wrong! You can also make/buy a few card dividers (4 recommended), to make everything perfect!
Ps. even tho’ we’re talking about CAH, the same box can be used for other games as well. Yes. You can use it for Exploding Kittens too!
Buying Guide To Choose The Perfect Cards Against Humanity Case Or Box
We’re assuming you’re having some trouble while picking your favorite case or box… Don’t worry. We have come up with some tips we thought may be helpful for you to find just what you’re looking for:
Do you plan on carrying your cards around? If yes, you should always look for a carrying case. Otherwise, a box is better for home storage.
Think about the number of cards you have or you plan to purchase. This is probably the most important detail you have to think of before deciding! If you own or plan to buy lots of expansions, go for a larger box/ case. If you just want to have the main games, without expanding further, a small box works great.
Pay attention to the handle. If you like carrying the deck of cards (almost) wherever you go, you should always look for the handle or shoulder strap.
Check the movable dividers. Movable dividers are great especially if you play CAH often. They really help keep the cards organized, dividing the black cards and white cards, the expansions, and more.
Find a costworthy case/box. This may not be a struggle for everyone, but we’d like to save some money. Lots of the time you can find a pretty qualitative box for a cheaper price, especially considering our recommendations.
Our Final Thoughts
Frankly, we included cases for every type of CAH person out there. You might be looking for a case/box for several reasons: you are clumsy and spill everything you drink, you’re a freak who wants things super organized, or more reasons. Whatever that is, we’re pretty sure you’ve found just what you were looking for in this list!
