14 Best Cards Against Humanity Carrying Cases, Storages, And Boxes!

Best Cards Against Humanity Carrying Cases & Storages

We know you love card games. We love ‘em too. However, they can get us in trouble sometimes, they’re so messy! Oh, and speaking of messy card games, Cards Against Humanity is definitely the king! And one of the main reasons is the huge set of cards, and not only in the main game!

Since we cannot stop playing the game, wouldn’t it be great if we also try to keep the cards organized at the same time? If you were told to put broken things in rice to fix them helps, no, it doesn’t work with CAH cards! However, we found a better solution: dozens of carrying cases and storage!

Buying Guide To Choose The Perfect Cards Against Humanity Case

Before we move on to the list, here are some tips we thought may be helpful for you to find just what you’re looking for:

Think about the number of cards you have or you plan to purchase. This is probably the most important issue you have to think of before deciding on a case! If you own or plan to buy lots of expansions, go for a larger box/ case. If you just want to have the main games, without expanding further, a small box works great (it’s actually better than having a large box where half of it will remain empty).

Pay attention to the handle. If you like carrying the deck of cards (almost) wherever you go, you should always look for the handle or shoulder strap. Just imagine how difficult & tedious it would be carrying a box from one place to another, if you don’t have a ‘second hand’ to help. The handle should be secured and feel comfortable when carrying.

Check the movable dividers. This is a lifesaver especially if you play CAH (or other card games) often. They really help keep the cards organized, you can divide the black cards and white cards, the expansions with each other, and more. The greatest thing is that you can remove and place them anywhere and anytime!

Find a costworthy case/box. This may not be a struggle for everyone, but we’d like to save some money. Lots of the time you can find a pretty qualitative box for a cheaper price, especially considering our recommendations.

DIY Cards Against Humanity Case

Well, we know that some of you like to do the challenging part, so we got your back. Since we now know how to make our CAH cards by printing them, now we can finally move into making our own CAH box. Let’s save some money, babes!

What you’re going to need:

  1. Huge cardboard, thick enough to hold cards, and become a box. (you know, common sense)
  2. Scissors/scalper
  3. Glue
  4. Pen (optional)
  5. Enthusiasm to start making the box! Yay!

Here’s what you’re going to do:

  1. Cut it carefully, as shown in the picture.
  2. Glue it together.
  3. With the pen write whatever you wish on it.
  4. If it doesn’t look like a box, you’ve done it wrong!
  5. You can also make/buy a few card dividers (4 recommended)

You just made yourself a box that fits 2,500 cards. Congrats!!

1. How big is the Cards Against Humanity box?

  • The main Cards Against Humanity box is 8 x 4.1 x 2.7 inches. Which means it perfectly suits 600 playing cards. But not more than that.

2. Which box/case is best for Cards Against Humanity?

  • It really depends on how many cards you’ve got. If you like adding expansion packs, or editions, you surely need a bigger box/case. However, make sure to check our buying guide to pick the perfect one.

3. But what’s the difference between a case & a box?

  • A case is usually made of a material called ethylene vinyl acetate (don’t try to memorize the name), and it is usually used for traveling because it is easier to hold. While, on the other hand, a box is made of different materials: wood, plastic, and metal, and its key purpose are to keep the cards organized.

4. What is the best material for a storage box?

  • If you’re planning to keep it in a safe place, every box works, even if it’s made with cardboard. But, if you like moving around and taking the box with you, we recommend a plastic one, because as you assume, it is waterproof, so there’s no risk!

5. What are a Cards Against Humanity holder?

  • A Cards Against Humanity holder can be anything that holds the deck. Yes, it is a very generic answer. It can be a case, a box, or a storage box. For example, a caseling case can fit 1650 cards. Even though that’s not the only purpose of the box, the fact that it can fit C.A.H cards makes it a Cards Against Humanity holder.

6. What comes in the Bigger Blacker Box?

  • Despite the fact that it’s designed to hold the cards, it actually comes with a few extra things: blank cards (50 of them), the 20-card box expansion, and the famous hidden card.

Our Final Thoughts

To be frank, we included cases for every type of CAH person out there. Starting from the clumsy ones who spill tea and coffee in almost everything, to the ones who want things super organized and tacked in their places. With the help of our buying guide and our top picks, we’re pretty sure you’ll find just what you need.

Even though we’re horrible people, we like things organized.

…Well, sometimes.
