What Do You Meme? – The Genius Design
Starting from the name of the game, we can say it is a genius design.
We all know the expression “What do you mean?”, and they used it quite smartly by making it “What do you meme?”.
There are pictures of memes in the cards, which have to be explained by the caption cards and it can not be more well put than: What do you meme?
Once you get the box, you see this very well-designed box, that gives you that ‘fun’ vibe. Even though it is a white package (which most of the time are boring), this one doesn’t give you that boring feeling to it.
With words written in teal, navy blue, purple, and black, this is a pretty well achieved design.
It includes things like the definition of meme, instructions on how to play the game, and who is it appropriate for.
Next thing you do is open the package. The first thing you’ll notice is the “Easel Inside”, which is a small package with a small easel inside it, we will talk about this further in the article-about what the easel is about.
Next thing after the easel is the rules paper, which is about instructions on how to play the game correctly. About which will also talk further in this article.
After that, you will see 435 cards divided in 3 piles of cards, each wrapped in a clear plastic paper.
Now, one of the piles has larger cards, and those are the photo cards which have the memes. There are 75 of those.
The two other piles contain 360 caption cards, which are used to caption the meme/photo cards.
The cards feel good and firm when holding them.
The design is very well thought, and the easel is a pretty awesome and clever idea.
What about the rules of the game? How to play with these well designed cards we found in a well designed box?
Let’s find out!
What Do You Meme? – How fun is it?
It is not fun, it is a blast! For all the dirty minded, and all those with some type of sense of humor that’s mostly considered ‘heavy’ by others, well, this game is the perfect game for you.
I mean look at this combination!! Of course, you’re gonna laugh at it, even if you don’t relate to it at all. This is the type of funny it is.
Even those that don’t have that sense of humor, you can remove the cards you feel like won’t do for you, and play the game without a problem.
However, it is not exactly the same fun as it would be with all of the cards, but still it is something you can do.
Since it is not suitable for people under the age of 17 because of the jokes that are not very appropriate.
You’re over 17 years old, get yourself ready to laugh your eyeballs out. Get yourself ready to have difficulties breathing. Yes, it is that funny!
Cards don’t have to be necessarily relatable in order for you to find them funny and laugh your lungs out.
If you can’t handle this combination, then trust me this is not the worst thing you’ll see if you keep playing. So, if you’re too sensitive this game is not for you.
Dinners with friends, or just gatherings with friends that have that same dirty mind as you will be filled with laughter and screams for breath.
Picnics, or wherever you feel comfortable yelling too loud that you disturb yourself will be a good choice to play ‘What Do You Meme?’.

Final Word – Our Rating
We rate it: 4.8 out of 5 stars
People on Amazon rated: 4.7 out of 5 stars (27,962 ratings)
It is absolutely fun, and the laughter is uncontrollable.
Just like all games out there, this one too knows to wear off eventually, but there are plenty of expansion packs and plenty of editions that make the game more fun and the laughter last.
Since it is not appropriate for all ages, it can be difficult if you’ve got children around since they love everything that has pictures in it, and this will attract them like a magnet pole attracts its opposite.
It’ll be a challenge! But it’ll definitely be worth it!
